‘Goodluck come back and save Nigeria’ march breaks out in Abuja

Nigerians agitating for the former president, Goodluck Jonathan’s political comeback, on Monday staged a march on the streets of Abuja.

They stormed the Headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP while the party’s National Executive Working Committee meeting was ongoing.

The Goodluck Jonathan’s supporters were seen with placards demanding the former Presidents return.

“Goodluck come back and save Nigeria,” they chanted.

News360 Info reports that a cross section of Nigerians who believe that the former president possess the magic wand to tackle the numerous challenges facing the nation have been agitating for his comeback.

Stakeholders in the PDP have also been reported mounting pressure on him to fly the party’s ticket in the 2027 presidential elections.

Despite speculations, the former president has remained silent on the matter.
