Seun Oloketuyi, a popular Nigerian filmmaker and the founder of Best Of Nollywood, BON Awards, announced the sad news on his Facebook page.

Kayode Peters, the famous Nigerian filmmaker and producer, has d!ed.

The 49-year-old reportedly d!ed in Canada on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

Seun Oloketuyi, a popular Nigerian filmmaker and the founder of Best Of Nollywood, BON Awards, announced the sad news on his Facebook page.

He wrote; “Bad News emerging from Canada indicates Filmmaker Kayode Peters is de@d.”

As at the time of filing this report, the circumstances surrounding his de@th remain unclear.
