It is stated that His Royal Highness, Shagari Ebije’ego Job, the traditional leader (Onu) of Itama in Kogi State’s Dekina Local Government Area, was assassinated at his home in the town.
According to information obtained by New360 Info, the attackers shot at the king on Monday night after following him to his home. The monarch is reportedly the youngest traditional ruler in the local administration.
Adukwu Ajibili, a town resident who verified the occurrence to Daily Trust, stated that the unidentified gunmen had drove into the town and began intermittently shooting at the chief’s home.
