‘Are You Sure?’ – EFCC Reacts As Its X Account Disappears

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has taken to Twitter to express dismay about the disappearance of its X (formerly Twitter) handle.

When contacted by the Foundation for Investigative Journalism (FIJ), EFCC Spokesman Dele Oyewale said that the disappearance might be the result of a network problem.

Our reporter’s investigation revealed that the account had vanished from the site on Tuesday afternoon, indicating that a network problem could not be the cause.
