Turkish giants Galatasaray have announced that Victor Osimhen has returned to gym training following surgery on a broken arm.
The Nigerian striker recently underwent surgery after fracturing his arm during a UEFA Champions League clash with Liverpool two weeks ago. The Turkish club provided an update on his recovery yesterday.
“The training session began with dynamic warm-up exercises, followed by 8-on-2 passing drills in two groups. Under the direction of our head coach Okan Buruk, the training concluded with a four-team tournament after a possession-based practice session,” the Yellow and Reds wrote on their official website.
“Victor Osimhen has resumed training in the gym following his treatment.”
The 26-year-old is expected to return to action before the end of the month, with Galatasaray targeting a third consecutive league title when they face Trabzonspor this weekend.
