Nigerian filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele has opened up about the journey behind bringing her dream projects to life, offering an inspiring glimpse into the dedication and resilience required to succeed in the entertainment industry.

She emphasized that her journey didn’t happen overnight, highlighting the role of learning, praying, and continuously re-strategizing, re-evaluating, and re-executing her plans.
“My journey didn’t start in a day. It took learning, praying, and choosing to re-strategise, re-evaluate, and re-execute. That’s how BEHIND THE SCENES became a reality,” she wrote.
Funke also expressed gratitude to those who have supported her along the way, including Mr. Patrick Lee and her fans, whom she affectionately referred to as “FANmily.”
Looking ahead, she reaffirmed her commitment to storytelling. “I’ll keep telling African stories with passion and authenticity,” she added, underscoring her dedication to representing African narratives with creativity and truth.
