E-Transmission: You Cannot Be Wise By Half – Galadima Knocks Senate

A chieftain of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima, has stated that only fraudulent individuals would be against the real-time electronic transmission of election results.

Speaking during an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Morning Show’ on Thursday, Galadima urged the lawmakers not to provoke Nigerians.

He said that the Senators were just wise by half, and they thought that everybody was deaf, dumb and unintelligent like they were.

“Why should they tell us we should do real-time electronically and at the same time said another thing? Because they came under pressure?

“If that bill is passed as it is, the INEC will be directed under the table to only use form EC8 so that they could rig the election and come back to their various various positions.

“They should not provoke us.They should know that we will know all this.

“It is either electronic transfer of election results or nothing. The Senate cannot be wise by half and they should be told so,” he said.

Meanwhile, Galadima, has dismissed claims that the All Progressives Congress is certain to win the 2027 presidential election.

News360 Info reports that in a recent interview, he insisted that the contest remains wide open

Galadima, who is known to be close to former Kano State governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, said on February 4, 2026, that controlling many states does not automatically translate into victory at the national level.

He warned Nigerians and the media not to assume that the ruling party has already secured the next election.

He also took a swipe at President Bola Tinubu, accusing him of acting above the law and raising concerns about how power is being exercised.

Galadima questioned the idea that any leader is beyond challenge and stressed that Nigeria’s democracy must operate within legal limits.

Speaking on the role of the courts, the NNPP chieftain said the judiciary must be allowed to function freely without pressure from politicians.

According to him, the strength of democracy depends on fair rulings and respect for the rule of law.

Galadima further rejected claims that the Peoples Democratic Party is weak or finished.

He expressed confidence that the PDP can return stronger and win the next presidential election if it presents the right candidate to Nigerians.

He also cautioned against any plan to manipulate the electoral process, warning that such actions would be resisted.

He concluded by predicting that Nigeria’s political space could witness major changes as 2027 draws closer.

He said: “Go and write it down that I said it. Is Tinubu God? Go and write it down that I say the PDP will win the next presidential election because it can bounce back with the right candidate.”
