Michael Adebayo Olayinka, the Nigerian singer, who is better known as Ruger is currently facing widespread backlash online.
He stirred the backlash after sharing a controversial opinion about women who undergo Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures.
Taking to his X account, the artiste stated that whenever he sees a woman with a BBL, his immediate assumption is that she possesses “bad character.”
He went further to claim that, in his view, the procedure often “comes with small attitude.”
He wrote: “When i see girl with bbl I Dey straight up think say dem get bad character 😂😂
“be like the procedure Dey come with small attitude and ogba.”

His remark has since sparked intense debate across social media, with many users criticizing him for making a blanket judgment about women’s choices regarding their bodies.
Others argued that such comments reinforce harmful stereotypes and contribute to the ongoing stigma surrounding cosmetic procedures.
