Security expert, Bulama Bukarti, says US President Donald Trump and rapper, Nicki Minaj, are adding salt to injury as it pertains to the insecurity Nigerians are battling with on a daily basis.
In a chat with Channels TV, Bulama said that while Nigerians are dy!ng, Trump and Minaj are using the opportunity for political rhetoric and entertainment.
In his words,
‘’Donald Trump, Nicki Minaj and their ilk are adding insult to injury where we are losing our lives, Nigerians are dying and they are using the opportunity for political rhetoric and entertainment. It tells you how seriously these people take our lives. It tells you how seriously these people take our lives that a musician who has never been to Nigeria, will be invited to the United Nations to speak on insecurity when we have eminent experts in Nigeria, when we have survivors in Nigeria, families who have lost loved ones in Nigeria, when we have a government in Nigeria , none of them got invited to the United Nation to seriously discuss the issue…it was a musician who has no relationship with Nigeria and knows nothing about Nigeria that was invited and when she went, what did she do? she gave a speech in which she claims to care about Nigerian christians but she was laughing at the end of the speech”
