Nigerian singer and rapper, Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide Baddo, has revealed how he handles negative criticisms.
The ‘Wo’ hitmaker explained that it is impossible to evade criticisms as a successful person or someone aspiring to be successful.
He added that one can tackle criticisms be remaining focus on goals and endeavours.
Speaking in a recent livestream, the rapper said, “If you want to blow or be great in life and you don’t want people to talk about you, then you’re not ready. People will come for you and chat sh*t about you, it’s now left for you to be focus.”
Recall that Olamide recently came under heavy criticisms after he declared Wizkid as the “greatest Afrobeats artist after Fela.”
Some music fans, especially fans of Burna Boy and Davido, not only disagreed with him, but also chastised him over his bold declaration.
Responding, Olamide argued that it was solely his opinion and no reasonable person should let someone else’s opinion define their greatness.
