Former France international, Louis Saha, has provided his view on the Cristiano Ronaldo versus Lionel Messi GOAT (Greatest of all Time) debate.
Saha picked Ronaldo over Messi, hailing the Portugal forward as tactically a more complete player.
Ronaldo and Messi are widely considered as the two greatest players of all time in the sport, having won 13 Ballon d’Or awards between themselves.
“I think it is a difficult question, very tricky,” Saha, a former Manchester United teammate with Ronaldo, told talkSPORT.
“Some will like [Lionel] Messi more, but I respect Cristiano [Ronaldo] more because I think if you want to start, in some way, a new team with a bit of a hyper jet, then the first player you want is him, because whatever the situation, he doesn’t need anyone around him.
“Ronaldo is just like physically, mentally, technically, tactically more complete, in my sense of football. But, yes, if you look at quality, this is the debate, you’ve to look at the genius Messi and respect what he has done.”
