Al-Nassr captain, Cristiano Ronaldo on Saturday, made history after scoring a goal in his side’s 5-1 win against Al-Fateh.
Ronaldo’s goals against Al-Fateh meant the Portugal forward has now become the first footballer in history to reach 800 goals in club football.
The 40-year-old achieved the feat for five different clubs – Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and Al-Nassr.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner fired a rocket of a shot into the top corner in the second half to score his fifth goal for Al-Nassr this season.
The goal was Ronaldo’s 800th in club football and his 99th in only 112 matches since moving to the Saudi Pro League in January 2023 after leaving Manchester United.
Ronaldo scored five goals for Sporting, 145 goals for Man United, 450 goals for Real Madrid and 101 goals for Juventus and 104 goals for Al-Nassr.
He will now hope to lead Al-Nassr to victory when they face Goa in the AFC Cup tie on Wednesday at the Fatorda Stadium.
