Iheanacho is now a free agent after his contract with Sevilla was terminated on transfer deadline day.
Celtic are now in talks with the Super Eagles forward and have offered him a two-year deal.
Two clubs in Turkey are also keen on Iheanacho, although personal terms are proving to be an issue.
Nigerian broadcast journalist, Onyebuchi Onokala, also known as Buchi Laba, wrote on X: “100% confirmed: Celtic were in negotiations with Sevilla for Kelechi Iheanacho before his contract was mutually terminated and now they have sent him a contract of 2years as a free agent!!!
