Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has ruled out any possibility of full-back Rico Lewis leaving the club for Nottingham Forest this summer transfer window.
Lewis has been heavily linked with a move to Premier League side Nottingham Forest this summer.
Nottingham made a £25million bid for the England youngster, including £4.3m in add-ons, which has been rejected by the Cityzens.
Lewis has played five times already for the England national team and can be deployed in midfield and as a full-back.
Speaking on the development, Guardiola insisted that Lewis, 20, is going to stay at City beyond this summer.
“I think he’s going to stay, I think. He told me that,” Guardiola said as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
“Today, I think he’s going to stay, but I don’t know what’s going to happen…”.
