NNPC Reduces Petrol Price In Lagos, Abuja

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has cut the pump price of petrol across its retail outlets to ₦865 per litre in Lagos and ₦890 per litre in Abuja.
This marks a ₦10 reduction from the previous prices of ₦875 and ₦900 per litre in both cities. Checks by The Cable on Friday revealed the new rates at several NNPC filling stations.

At the company’s outlet in Abule Ado, Lagos, petrol was sold at ₦865 per litre, while at the NNPC station in Abuja, located at the Federal Housing Authority, Kubwa, it was dispensed at ₦890 per litre.

The latest cut comes barely nine days after NNPC reduced petrol prices to ₦875 in Lagos and ₦900 in Abuja on August 6, just two days after raising them to ₦915 and ₦955, respectively.

On August 12, Dangote Petroleum Refinery also announced a price slash to ₦820 per litre, down from ₦850.
