Mbaka also disclosed that he never said that idols worshipped by African ancestors should be sustained.
The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria, AMEN, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has denied saying the ancestors of Africans were saints.
He also denied saying idols worshipped by African ancestors should be sustained.
He spoke while addressing his followers during a service at the Adoration ground in Enugu, the fiery preacher said he would never promote idolatry.
He said: “A few weeks ago, I was talking about false accusations to our ancestors, don’t misunderstand me, I was not saying our ancestors were all saints.
“I never meant that and neither did I say the idols they worshipped should be sustained, never. I can never be an apostle for the promotion of idolatry, I have only one omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient God.
“Neither did I affirm nor disclaim that the things that are happening in our families have no past background.
“That was not what I said, I was overemphasizing false accusations, we should not over generalize.
“Lord save me, save the Adoration Ministry, save Fr Mbaka. Isaiah 38 verse 20 and God is always ready to save.”
