Airport Incident: ‘No Special Treatment, KWAM 1 Must Be Prosecuted’ – DJ Switch

Nigerian disc jockey, Obianuju Catherine Udeh, popularly known as DJ Switch, has condemned the recent conduct of Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as Kwam 1, during an airport incident.
News360 Info reports that the activist described his actions as unacceptable and called for accountability.

She argued that Nigeria operates a two-tier justice system that protects the elite from facing consequences while punishing the less privileged.

According to her, in a more just system, Kwam 1 would be facing legal charges over the matter.

She wrote on her Instagram story: “The thuggish behavior by Kwam 1 at the airport is so incredibly despicable! But, as we’ve always known, the two tiered system in Nigeria serves only to punish and silence the elite accountable he holding the poor while never for anything! Because in a saner country, he should be facing charges! I had some words for Abike Dabiri but she’s not worth it!”

The statement comes amid ongoing investigations by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) into the confrontation involving Kwam 1 and ValueJet airline.

In other news, Yoruba actor, Adams Kehinde, popularly known as Lege Miami, has claimed that the pilot involved in the incident with Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as Kwam 1, acted recklessly and should face consequences.

News360 Info reports that Miami claimed the pilot, Captain Oluranti Ogoyi, ‘s actions during the dispute could have endangered the singer’s life.
