I’m Hoping To See ‘Rig And Die’ Come 2027 – Charly Boy

Maverick singer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has claimed that the current administration of President, Bola Tinubu, is ten times worse than the immediate past administration of the late former President, Muhammadu Buhari.

News360 Info reports that Charly Boy, in a recent interview with Jay On-Air, said he is looking forward to Nigerians adopting a ‘rig and die’ policy to protect their votes in the 2027 general elections.

He urged Nigerians to change the current government by any means necessary, adding that “before it gets better, it will get worse.”

He said, “The corruption in the current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is ten times worse than the last administration of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari…

“All I’m interested in right now is, will our votes count in 2027? How do we do it? How do we get these monsters away from leadership positions? It’s not about Mr A can steal more than Mr B. The people stealing our national wealth are from all the tribes. We know the game.

“But I’m hoping to see ‘rig and die’ come 2027. Blood will flow; before it gets better, it will get worse.”

In other news, Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has dismissed claims by popular entertainer, Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, that Lagos is not any man’s land.

Charly Boy had stated this while reacting to the renaming of a bus stop in Lagos.

The Bariga Local Council Development Area of Lagos State had renamed a popular bus stop, earlier known as Charly Boy, to ‘Olamide Baddo’ in honour of hip-hop artist, Olamide Adedeji.

Faulting the renaming of the bus stop, Charly Boy said ‘Lagos is a no man’s land,’ while likening the coastal city to New York City in the United States.

Responding, Olayinka challenged Charly Boy to contest for the Oba of Lagos since the state is a no man’s land.
