Kano Fire Service saves 3 persons, N1bn property in June

The Kano State Fire Service saved three persons and property worth N1 billion from 40 fire incidents recorded in the month of June.

The Public Relations Officer of the Service, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday.

Abdullahi said that three other persons lost their lives while property worth N568 million was destroyed during the period.

He said that the service responded to seven emergency calls and five false alarms in June.

Abdullahi also advised residents in the state to vacate and steer clear of buildings with structural cracks to avert building collapse and loss of lives
