Modric speaks on how he wants to be remembered after leaving Real Madrid

Former Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric has spoken on how he wants to be remembered after leaving the Los Blancos.

Modric left Real Madrid after the club was recently eliminated from the FIFA Club World Cup at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain.

Real Madrid had opted not to renew his contract following the conclusion of last season.

As a result, AC Milan secured a deal for the Croatia international this summer.

Modric will join the Serie A giants in the coming days after signing a one-year deal with them.

The veteran midfielder played his last match for Real Madrid in the Club World Cup against PSG.

When asked how he would like to be remembered, Modric told Real Madrid TV: “I have never thought about how I would like to be remembered.

“However people want to remember me. As a good person, first of all.

“And as a player who has always given my all, who has respected everyone, opponents, team-mates, and fans; as a player who has always given everything for Real Madrid.”
