Why Are You Worried About A Coalition You Claimed Is Dead On Arrival – Dele Momodu Knocks APC

Veteran journalist and politician, Dele Momodu, has condemned the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC )’s alleged attempt to frustrate the unveiling of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition.
Recall that Momodu had earlier disclosed that the planned unveiling of the ADC as a unifying political platform for Nigeria’s opposition suffered a setback.

The venue where the event was meant to be held abruptly cancelled a fully paid reservation just hours before the programme on Wednesday.

News360 Info understands that the event scheduled at the Wells Carlton Hotel and Apartments in Asokoro, Abuja, was expected to formally introduce the ADC as the platform to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress in the 2027 general elections.

However, on Wednesday morning, organisers were informed that the hotel would no longer host the event due to an unspecified “internal compliance matter.”

In a post shared on social media, media personality Rita Ebiuwa alleged: “APC is jittery. Threatening hotels not to allow their facilities to be used for today’s ADC adoption is ridiculous.”

Reacting to the post, Momodu questioned the ruling party’s confidence, writing: “Why are they worried about a coalition they boasted is ‘dead on arrival’…? Many of their supporters have privately told me they’re truly scandalised by the shenanigans of their overzealous members.”
