Real Madrid have progressed into the quarter-finals of the 2025 Club World Cup, thanks to a narrow 1-0 win over Juventus.
The LaLiga giants came into the Round of 16 clash as huge favourites, but were unable to break down Juve in the opening half.
However Gonzalo Garcia’s second-half header in the 54th minute was enough for victory.
Garcia converted a cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold, as Xabi Alonso’s men booked their place in the last eight.
It’s a deserved victory for Real and only a superb goalkeeping display from Michele di Gregorio kept the score at one.
Madrid will now face either Borussia Dortmund or Monterrey for a place in the semi-final.
