EFCC Arrests 31 Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Nasarawa State

Several items were recovered from the suspects, including numerous high-end smartphones and laptops.

31 suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested in Nasarawa State.
They were arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
The EFCC in a statement on their official X platform said the suspects were arrested during a coordinated operation in Nasarawa Toto, following credible intelligence reports linking them to various cybercrime activities.
According to the EFCC, several items were recovered from the suspects, including numerous high-end smartphones and laptops believed to have been used in perpetrating online scams.
The commission stated that the suspects are currently in custody and will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
