Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has fired back at activist Verydarkman over his recent comments targeting music stars Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido.
Verydarkman had earlier criticized the trio for flaunting their wealth on social media, accusing them of neglecting to give back to their immediate communities despite their enormous riches.
However, in a swift response, Portable called out the activist for what he described as hypocrisy. The singer reminded Nigerians that Verydarkman himself recently purchased an expensive Benz, a car he could not previously afford.
“How can you say that Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy are only buying cars and not helping people? Have you forgotten that Davido donated to charity? Have you forgotten that Burna Boy gave me N20 million? You were always drinking pure water before, didn’t you buy Benz?” Portable said.
