Transfer: Bayer Leverkusen demand €50m for Boniface

Former Bundesliga champions, Bayer Leverkusen will demand €50m to sell Victor Boniface this summer.

Die Werkself are looking to sell the Nigeria international to fund new signings following the departure of former head coach Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid.

Boniface was close to joining Saudi Arabia Professional League club, Al Nassr for €70m in January.

Al Nassr later opted to sign Jhon Duran from Aston Villa.

Boniface struggled for consistency during the 2024/25 season due to persistent injuries.

The 24-year-old scored 11 goals in 27 outings across all competitions for Leverkusen in the 2024/25 season.

He joined Die Werkself from Belgian Pro League outfit, Union Saint-Gillloise in 2023.
