Two suspected notorious gunrunners, Saeedu Haruna and Yahaya Adamu, have been arrested by Troops of 3 Division/Operation Safe Haven in Barkin Ladi local government area of Plateau State
This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by the Media Officer, Operation Save Haven, OPSH, Major Samson Zhakom.
According to the statement, the arrest followed an intelligence-based operation conducted on 11 May, 2025.
Investigation, according to the army revealed that the two suspects and their syndicate were responsible for a series of attacks along Gashish and Kurra Falls and also in Gwantu and Fadan Karshe in Sanga LGA of Kaduna State.
The statement added that the suspects are currently making useful confessions in custody while efforts were ongoing by troops to arreat the fleeing members of the syndicate and recover their weapons.
One AK-47 rifle, one AK-47 magazine and one Itel mobile phone were recovered from the suspect during the operations.
