Rivers Women Stage Walkout At Remi Tinubu Event, Chant We Want Sim Fubara

A group of Rivers women have staged a dramatic walkout on Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

The incident happened during a women empowerment programme at the EUI Centre in Rivers State.

It was gathered that the incident happened on Monday.

The event, which was billed to feature the presentation of empowerment items to 500 women in the state, turned chaotic when the wife of the Sole Administrator, Mrs. Theresa Ibas, was invited to speak on behalf of the First Lady.

According to an eyewitness, the moment her name was announced, the atmosphere shifted.
