Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has addressed the rumors circulating about him being turned away from businessman Obi Cubana’s extravagant 50th birthday celebration in Abuja.
Footage from the event has been widely shared, showing several high-profile personalities, including Pastor Jerry Eze, Cubana Chiefpriest, comedian AY, and musician Flavour, making their grand entrances.
Following the event, media personality Radiogad fueled online speculation by boasting that he had received an invitation to the party but was unable to attend due to being abroad. He also mocked VDM, who resides in Abuja, suggesting that he had not been invited and attempted to crash the event, only to be denied entry.
Radiogad didn’t stop there, he also made snide remarks about Nollywood actors Yul Edochie and Judy Austin, who, like VDM, are based in Abuja but were reportedly absent from the guest list.
In response to the taunts, VDM swiftly fired back, accusing his critics of fabricating stories about him. He denied the allegations, claiming that individuals like Radiogad were simply trying to bring him down with baseless claims.
VDM further dismissed rumors spread by actor Uche Maduagwu, which falsely claimed that he had been deported from China.
“The thing is they are waiting for my downfall; it didn’t happen then they decided to plan my downfall, the plan failed then they decided to create a story to make them happy… Pitiful – just google The Ratel,” VDM wrote in part.
