I’ll quit music if you don’t stream my songs – Lyta tells fans

Afrobeats singer Babatunde Rahim, popularly known as Lyta, has threatened to stop releasing songs if his fans don’t stream the ones he has already dropped.

The former YBNL signee lamented that he is going bankrupt due to a lack of patronage from music fans.

Speaking during a recent Instagram live session, Lyta said, “I can do more good music. But if you don’t stream my music, I won’t drop another one. I’m in need of money.

Lyta came into prominence in 2018 after he was signed to YBNL Nation. He left the record label in May 2019 after having a disagreement with the label owner Olamide.

In previous interviews, he publicly pleaded with Olamide to accept him back into YBNL, but the rapper didn’t accept his plea to be re-signed to the label.
