British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has predicted what Donald Trump’s tariffs might mean for the UK.
The US President on Wednesday, imposed 10% tariffs on imports of British goods.
During his speech, Trump declared war on countries he described as foreign cheaters.
The trade levies include 20% on the EU, 34% on China, 26% on India and 49% on Cambodia.
Trump has now signed the executive order and now Morgan has had his say on the tariffs.
He wrote on X: “PREDICTION: President Trump’s global tariff war is either going to be a spectacular success or a total disaster. I have no clue which.
In a speech he made, Trump said: “Taxpayers have been ripped off for more than 50 years. But it is not going to happen anymore.
