He said, “The swift response of the Oyo State Fire Services Agency (Ogbomoso Command) averted an explosion after a petrol tanker accident at Odo-Oba, Ogbomoso.

Today, Tuesday, 18th March 2025, at exactly 10:25 hrs, we received a distress call. On arrival, we found a DAF trailer loaded with 45,000 litres of PMS, which had somersaulted into a nearby ditch, causing petrol to gush out instantly. We blanketed the area with a foam compound to neutralise the flammability of the spilled contents and prevent any potential fire outbreak.
