‘I get 98% bad publicity’ – Trump tackles media

President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, had bemoaned US media over negative coverage of his presidency.

He made this known in a viral Fox News interview session with Elon Musk.

The 47th US president’s comments come amid reports that Elon Musk has gained control over his presidency.

However, President Trump described reports over Musk’s takeover of his presidency as an attempt by the media to give him bad publicity.

He said, “Because I think nobody in history has ever gotten worse publicity than me. I get 98 percent bad publicity.”

He noted that the American people are smart to decipher the truth about his administration.

“You know what I have learned, Elon? The people are smart. They get it! They really see what is happening,” he said.

News360 Info reports that after President Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025, he had rolled several executive orders, some of which met with legal blockage.

For instance, Trump’s executive order ending healthcare funding for youths transitioning to transgender was temporarily blocked by US District Judge Brendan Hurson.

Similarly, a Washington District US judge, Amir Ali, issued the order on Thursday, compelling Trump’s administration to unfreeze its three-week funding on foreign aid.
