Ekweremadu’s wife, Beatrice released from UK prison

Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu, wife of a former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has been released from the United Kingdom’s prison.

A source who craved anonymity said Beatrice, who was sentenced to five years in UK prison, returned to the country on Tuesday.

She is said to be currently in Abuja.

Our correspondent, however, gathered that there is jubilation currently going on in her family house in the Mpu community of Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State.
