Nigerian popular gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey, on Monday ministered at the presidential inaugural prayer breakfast of President Donald Trump.
The event, which was non-governmental and non-political, was hosted by Reverend Merrie Turner, in Washington DC shortly after the swearing-in ceremony of Donald Trump.
Bassey, a popular pastor and trumpeter, who was invited to minister to the guests, performed his song ‘Take the Stage’, where he called on Jesus to take over the White House.
In his heartfelt music, the trumpeter offered a prayer for divine guidance over the White House and the entire United States, calling on God to shine his glory over the nation.
News360 Info recalls that Bassey had earlier explained that he received a phone call from Reverend Merrie Turner, who had been praying when God instructed her to invite Bassey to “release His glory over the United States.
