Please Drop Me Off – Adeyanju Rejects Tinubu’s ‘Promised Land’ Vision

Nigerian activist and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju has reacted to a remark by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, promising to take Nigeria to the promised land.

News360 Info reports that Tinubu had assured Nigerians of his administration’s commitment to leading the country to the promised land.

He made this declaration on Wednesday while addressing a gathering at his residence in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.

Tinubu said, “We are determined, we are capable, and we are resolute, and we will be there. We will take Nigeria to that promised land with you.

Reacting, Adeyanju asked Tinubu to “drop him off” while taking Nigerians to their promised land.

Speaking via his X account, he wrote, “Tinubu promises to take Nigerians to the ‘promised land’ in his New Year message.

ME: Please drop me; I don’t want to follow Nigerians to where you are taking them. Thank you very much.
