Wike, Security Agencies Planning To Arrest Ugochinyere – CUPP Raises Alarm

The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has claimed that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike and security agencies are planning to arrest the lawmaker representing Ideato Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Ugochinyere Michael Ikeagwuonu.

The Coalition made the allegation in a statement made available to Naija News on Thursday after a press conference in Abuja.

Speaking via its Secretary-General, Peter Ameh, CUPP described the alleged plot as a grave threat to democracy.

They labeled it a “clandestine scheme to defame, tarnish, and stifle the voice of one of Nigeria’s most vocal and incorruptible opposition leaders.

The group claimed that Wike allies, in collaboration with complicit security agencies, have been training fake witnesses for over six weeks in Abuja to provide false testimony against Ugochinyere.
