Former chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, Justice Emmanuel Ayoola, is dead.
News360 Info reports that Ayoola’s family announced his demise in a statement on Wednesday.
Ayoola was said to have died at the age of 90 on Tuesday but the circumstances surrounding the death was not revealed.
The statement read, “With heartfelt gratitude to the Lord Almighty, for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing away of our beloved Dad, granddad, great-granddad, brother, uncle, benefactor, and friend, Hon. Justice Emmanuel Olayinka Ayoola (JSC, rtd; CON).”
Former Anambra Deputy Speaker, Oseke Dies At 64
In a related news, the former Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Harford Oseke, has died at the age of 64.
The politician, who hailed from Umuawulu in Awka South Local Government Area, passed away under circumstances that remain unclear as of the time of this report.
According to Channels TV, report surrounding Oseke’s death are conflicting. Some sources suggest that he collapsed during his regular exercise routine at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka on Monday.
Others indicate that Oseke had been battling an illness and was in the hospital until news of his death surfaced on Monday.
