A pack of 25 Great Danes was wandering loose on a walking trail when the 56-year-old woman from Northern California was mauled to death by the dogs, according to police.
Just before two in the morning on Thursday of last week, a neighbor found Davina Corbin’s severely bitten body on the street, according to the Butte County Sheriff’s Office.
Corbin’s clothing was covered in DNA matching domestic dogs, and her body had “numerous bite marks and injuries.” According to the office, a medical examiner concluded that a domestic dog attack was the cause of her death.
