Regarding the ₦90 billion hajj subsidy, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has revealed that some of its officials have been arrested. This information was provided by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
TheCable was informed by the commission’s spokeswoman, Demola Bakare, that certain NAHCON officials were detained on Wednesday for not accepting an invitation from the anti-graft organization.
Bakare refuted the allegations that the ICPC closed NAHCON’s office, highlighting the commission’s ability to function within the law.
