Ezekwesili Responds As the Opposition Candidate Leads the Senegalese Presidential Race: Senegal Has Shown Africa the Way
President Bola Tinubu has received a warning from Oby Ezekwesili, a former minister of education, that he will not prevail over Nigerians in the current statewide protests.
In response to Tinubu’s failure to address the issue, she made this statement.
According to Ezekwesili, a leader has never prevailed over their people.
In a social media statement, the former vice president of the World Bank’s Africa division made this claim.
She clarified, saying, “The wise thing to do is not to shut them up, threaten, taunt, and brutalize them thereby demonstrating a tragic empathy deficit syndrome. Instead, you should listen to them when they tell their leaders that they are hungry and angry because you have governed them badly.”
