The Department of State Services (DSS) has detained the organizers of the statewide demonstration against poor governance that took place in Katsina State.
Vanguard claims that after being invited to the DSS office in Katsina, the two leaders of the “Struggle for Good Governance” protest, Kabir Shehu Yandaki and Habibu Ruma, were taken into custody.
Likewise, security personnel detained Mujittapha Usman, who was purportedly the leader of the demonstration in Malumfashi Local Government Area.
