‘Disappointed But Not Moved’ – PDP Reacts As Saraki’s Ex-Chief Of Staff Dumps Party After Court Case

Olusegun Adewara, the publicity secretary for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State, has stated that the party is unconcerned by Gbenga Makanjuola’s resignation from the party. Makanjuola was the deputy chief of staff to President Bukola Saraki of the 8th Senate.

According to News360 Info, Makanjuola, a two-term member of the House of Representatives, submitted a letter dated July 30, 2024, to the ward chairman in the Kwara state local government area, announcing his desire to leave the opposition party.

He also imitated Hon. Babatunde Mohammed, the party’s state chairman.
