Telecommunications providers nationwide have been ordered by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to promptly reactivate any phone lines that were disabled because SIM cards weren’t linked to national identification numbers.
On Monday, Reuben Muoka, the Director of Media and Public Affairs, disclosed this information in a statement.
The NCC said in a statement that it made the choice because the customer comes first.
