The August 1 nationwide demonstration organizers have been urged by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to reevaluate their demands, especially the one asking President Bola Tinubu to revoke the 1999 Constitution.
This demand was deemed unrealistic and unachievable by the ruling party.
Following a meeting behind closed doors with the Forum of APC State Chairmen on Friday at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, the APC issued this appeal.
The purpose of the discussion was to talk about the possible consequences and practicalities of the planned demonstration.
