Aminu Mu’azu Maifata, National President of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), has warned that the planned citizen hunger protest would bring bad days to Nigeria.
The head of the Lafia Local Government Area in Nasarawa State stated that while protest is a constitutionally guaranteed right of citizens, the best course of action to address the issues facing the nation would be through conversation and peace.
According to Mu’azu Maifata, the economy has been destroyed as a result of violent protests over time. He continued by saying that for growth and peace, Nigerians must avoid protests.
