President Xi Jinping of China has extended an invitation to President Bola Tinubu to visit China on a state visit in September.
China’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chen Xiaodong, presented the invitation on Thursday at the Aso Villa.
The Special Advisor to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, revealed this development in a message released on Friday on his official X Twitter.
In the statement, President Tinubu expressed his optimism that the visit will improve bilateral ties between China and Nigeria as well as the planned currency exchange deal, which is anticipated to increase both countries’ economic cooperation.
