Police Deploy 4,200 Officers In Abuja

In advance of the anticipated nationwide demonstration, 4,200 police officers have been stationed in Abuja by the Nigeria Police Force’s Federal Capital Territory Command.

In a statement released on Friday, Josephine Adeh, the spokesman for the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, stated that the deployment’s goals were to protect demonstrators, maintain public safety, and keep non-state actors from taking over the demonstrations.
