Femi Fani-Kayode, the former minister of aviation, stated that legitimate and peaceful protests and demonstrations are the rights of citizens.
According to the former director of the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign on Digital and New Media, the demonstration in August was deemed unsatisfactory due to the absence of clearly recognizable leaders.
Femi Kayode suggested that August protests by Nigerians be avoided. According to him, there are attempts to incite security personnel to rebel against the administration.
On his X Twitter on Friday, the former minister of aviation charged that the organizers of the protests were using the nation’s economic woes to incite discontent with the federal government.
