In a phone chat, Buni resident Ali Hassan confirmed the occurrence to a Channels Television correspondent.
Captain Muhammad Shehu, the spokesperson for Sector 2 Joint Task Force Operation Hadin Kai, verified the event as well, stating that the Army found and successfully exploded another IED that had been put in the market.
He went on to say that the lone explosion victim was being treated at one of Buni Yadi’s medical facilities.
