The administration of President Bola Tinubu is resolute in maintaining the rule of law and protecting the rights of its citizens, as stated by Prince Lateef Fagbemi, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation.
In his capacity as the country’s chief legal officer, Fagbemi promised to make sure that no one’s rights are violated.
Fagbemi emphasized that before making an arrest, law enforcement officials must take all necessary precautions. He declared that keeping people for longer than permitted by the constitution or by court decisions would no longer be accepted and denounced the practice.
